The Alchemist

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite books.  Frequently found on international bestseller lists, The Alchemist is everything a novel should be. 

Full of adventure, life lessons, romance, and treasures, it was difficult to put this book down.  Even if you don't read fiction, you will probably still find this story fascinating.  After reading The Alchemist I wanted to explore Paulo Coelho's other books.  Paulo is from Brazil and is now one of my favorite writers.  His style and gift for telling stories makes his books come to life.
