Patience

Patience is a virtue--we've all heard this phrase many times. The pyramids weren't built overnight, it takes many months for a seed to become a flower. Yet, in our world of Facebook likes and re-tweets, our expectations of instant gratification are becoming increasingly prevalent.

There's a great story about two bricklayers. Each was asked about what they were doing, to which the first responded "laying bricks, anyone can see that." Yet, when the second bricklayer was asked about what he was doing he provided a different response. The second bricklayer looked up for a moment, smiled, and then answered the question by saying, "I'm building a castle."
