Why I Gave Up TV

The T.V. is like "the matrix". You can spend your entire life blissfully watching other people live life. Or, you can live your own life. Why watch people go exploring when the door waits there, unopened, fifteen feet away? How many great works of art were created while watching your weekly scheduled programming?

Yes the T.V. is entertaining, but so are people, so is life. I must admit I do indulge in the occasional sports game or SNL skit, but these people are sharing their gifts with us, and by sitting on the couch, it's not very simple to return the favor.

So which will you choose, the red pill or the blue pill? Illusion or truth? The choice is yours.
